Cambodia Services
Explore our Cambodia Services — company registration, accounting, tax, audit, market research, business licences and compliance solutions for startups and foreign investors.
Company Registration
MoC registration is online. We prepare the name, articles, shareholder and address file, submit the application and collect the certificate so the company can tax-register and open a bank account.
Foreign-owned and local companies use the same desk. Sector licences that must follow incorporation are listed before we file, so you are not surprised by a second ministry.
Corporate Secretary
Statutory books and registers, board papers, and the forms, notices and resolutions MoC and the tax office expect after the company exists. Officer and shareholding changes are filed with the supporting minutes.
Annual obligations are diaried against the same company file as the accounts. You get a copy of what was lodged, not a verbal confirmation.
Bookkeeping and monthly accounts so the Cambodian company can file tax and pay people from one ledger. Banks, sales, purchases and payroll are closed on an agreed date.
Management accounts are written for an owner or a parent, not only for the tax office. Year-end packs are built from the same books; we do not restart the year in December.
Accounting Setup
A new ledger under Cambodian International Financial Reporting Standards and the current Ministry of Economy and Finance prakas. Chart of accounts, opening balances and the tax codes are set before the first live month.
If books already exist on a spreadsheet or another system, we map them across and document the gaps. The setup note is what the next accountant — or an auditor — will need.
Tax Compliance Services
Tax on income, patent tax and the other monthly and annual returns the General Department of Taxation expects. Filings are prepared from the books and diaried so a missed month does not become a penalty file.
Foreign-tax coordination is included when the parent or a related company has to report the same numbers. We keep workings with the return.
Tax Advisory
Advice on a structure, a cross-border payment or a position that is not a routine return. The output is a dated note with the recommendation and the law we relied on.
Individuals and companies use the same desk. If the next step is a filing, the compliance team picks up the same facts rather than starting again.
Statutory Audit Service
Statutory audit by Cambodian and international CPAs where the company must file audited accounts. We coordinate the trial balance, confirmations and statutory records so the field work is an audit, not a reconstruction.
Group or IFRS packs can be audited beside the local accounts when the parent needs both. Timetables are set against the MoC and tax dates, not an open “sometime this year”.
Internal Audit Services
An independent look at cash, inventory, approvals and the controls around tax and payroll. The review can be a single visit after a problem, or a plan that repeats through the year.
Each finding has an owner and a date. We will come back to see whether the fix held — that is the difference between a report and a control that actually changed.
Business Advisory
A plan for how the Cambodian company should operate: entity, licences, people and the first-year calendar. We write it so a board or a lender can read it without sitting in the workshop.
If you then proceed, the same team can take registration, tax and the books. Advisory is not a separate brand; it is the work before the filings.
Due Diligence
Financial, legal and tax due diligence on a Cambodian target or a counterparty. We test the numbers, the licences and the hidden filings — not only the pack the seller tabled.
The report states what we saw, what we could not see, and what should be a condition or a price adjustment. It is written for a buyer who was not in the data room.
Business License Package
The licences that sit after MoC registration — ministry or municipal permits that depend on the activity. We list what the company actually needs, prepare the file and track each office until the certificate is in hand.
Trading, services, food and manufacturing do not share one licence. The first meeting is about the activity and the site, not a generic bundle.
Investment Advisory
Which activities to add, which to drop, and how capital should sit in the Cambodian vehicle. The note covers entity, incentives and the practical timetable, not a country brochure.
When the decision is made, registration and tax can start from the same paper. That is the point of keeping advisory and filings on one desk.
Market Research
A written picture of the market you are entering: demand, competitors, routes to the customer and the licences that will slow you down. We gather what is public and what we can verify on the ground in Phnom Penh.
The output is a memo with sources, not a slide deck of adjectives. It is meant to change a go / no-go or a first-year plan.
